banshee04le Posted March 13, 2004 Report Posted March 13, 2004 What IS your compression, and what size pilots are you running? What mods do you have? When was the last time you slapped in a new set of spark plugs? Quote
ranshee Posted March 13, 2004 Report Posted March 13, 2004 With bad compression, it can make starting your quad a real bitch. Dont ride the damn thing till ya rebuild. If ya blow it up it could cost you more to rebuild. Quote
MotulMonsta Posted March 14, 2004 Report Posted March 14, 2004 I had the same issues with my banshee, turned out to be the cdi that was faulty. Quote
sweetshee4312 Posted March 14, 2004 Author Report Posted March 14, 2004 the compression is 120 to 100 psi, fmf fattys, uni airfilter, 27.5 Ps 280 mains 900 alt. 40-50 degrees, and i put new sparks in, it wount start, how do i tell if the cdi is actuallly bad Quote
frocashmoney24 Posted March 14, 2004 Report Posted March 14, 2004 do u mean 120 in one jug and 100 in the other, if theres more then 10 psi diffrence between the two jugs then its time for a rebuild Quote
Big Blue Posted March 14, 2004 Report Posted March 14, 2004 If it is that far off on compression, stop riding it until you rebuild it, if it blows it will cost more. Quote
