I don't even know where to begin to look....

I'm looking for the post about the plug wire switch and the one where the guy put

foam around the outter edge of his radiator...

any help pointing me in the right direction, or any info on either one would be greatly appreciated.

thanks

Are you talking about swapping the orange and black wires going into the coil?

The foam thing is easy as well. Just put some flexible foam type material on each side of your radiator so the air is forced to go through your radiator, and can't go around it.

I wouldn't swap the leads going into the coil, could damnage your cdi in the long run. But you can swap the plug wires between plugs as the coil fires both plugs at the same time.

Which wire is supposed to be forward anyway? I believe I have the orange wire in front on both my bikes. Are you sure it can damage the cdi? I can't see how and it seems that yamaha would have used measures to prevent that if it could hurt the cdi.
