SICK BOY Posted March 8, 2004 Report Posted March 8, 2004 Two stroke's are not too hard to rebuild.Buy a Clymer manual, and take your time and ask ?'s on here if you get stuck.Just lable all the parts so you rember what they are.Doing the rebuild your self will save you some cash, and teach you about your machine. minnshee01 Posted March 9, 2004 Report Posted March 9, 2004 EASY, EASY, EASY, I just bought a vito's super stock kit and me and a buddy started at noon and are already done and it runs AWESOME. Just remember to label your tubes and set it all the parts on a piece of cardboard the same way they came out. Quote
roosthrower Posted March 9, 2004 Report Posted March 9, 2004 the hardest part for me was putting in the circlips without droping them in the crank case and sliding the cylinders over the pistons without moving the rings out of the proper spot. ( didn't have a ring compressor) Quote
banshee tuner Posted March 9, 2004 Report Posted March 9, 2004 Just stuff shop rags down in the case so if you drop the circlips you don't have to tear the bottom end apart. Make sure you oil the cylinders and they will be a lot easier to get over the rings. The rings are hard to close with your fingers but be patient. Quote
