thecabinboy Posted February 27, 2004 Report Posted February 27, 2004 What do you guy think is the best pipe for the dunes? I need the best pipe for general duning fun. I hill shoot, trail ride, play in the bowls and jump informally in the sand drags. Right now I'm running T-5's but lately have been toying with the idea of getting some CPI's or similar inframe drag pipe. Quote
yamaha350 Posted February 28, 2004 Report Posted February 28, 2004 cpi's. everyone says they have no bottom end but i could do all types of riding with mine. Quote
bbluebanshee Posted February 28, 2004 Report Posted February 28, 2004 Most definately, without a doubt, cpi's.From what i have seen, they do very well in the sand. Riding in the dunes, who needs bottom end anyway? Quote
sandnureyez Posted February 29, 2004 Report Posted February 29, 2004 get the cpis. Ive never had a problem..as for no low end dont think anyones cruzin the dunes unless they dont have a banshee.. Quote

Oilsmoke Posted February 29, 2004 Report Posted February 29, 2004 Big Blue How Hard does it pull up steep hills and do you feel like you need more carb with them? Quote
Minkia38 Posted February 29, 2004 Report Posted February 29, 2004 Rockets are all I would ever run.... Quote
Jeffro Posted March 1, 2004 Report Posted March 1, 2004 Well why not when you sell them??? I love my CPI's Quote
Big Blue Posted March 1, 2004 Report Posted March 1, 2004 Big Blue How Hard does it pull up steep hills and do you feel like you need more carb with them? I really like the pipes, i chose the 30's based on jims recomedation to keep some bottom end, it pulls up hills great, to good for my stock tires, it would handle a larger carbs but the 30s compliments the type of riding i like to do. yamaha350 Posted March 2, 2004 Report Posted March 2, 2004 i have had 2 sets of cpi's and never had a problem with the chrome coming off. i would never use anything but cpi. Quote
DUNEDEMON Posted March 2, 2004 Report Posted March 2, 2004 I run Shearers and think they're great. Mid to top end pull is outrageous when jetted / geared right. Quote
