It everything interchangable from the RZ engin to the shee engin?

Would the RZ pv top end bolt right on?

Would a banshee head work on the cylinder?

Would you need to find some where to mount a battery?

I have been told the RZ pv needs a battery?

Since its an older design would it be very affective?

Anything any 1 can tell me about this will be appreciated..

Thx.

almost everything is

Yes it will

No you have to used an rz head or used a rz cool head

Yes you can use a battery or you can get an battery eleminator off e-bay

you have to get the Rz cylinders, powervalves, head, CDI, wiring harness, stator, flywheel, power valve servo motor, PV cables, and anything else I might be forgetting for the RZ top-end to work properly, I was planing on doing an RZ conversion but then I figured it would be alotta work so I backed out, but now I kinda wish I would of. Good luck!

From my understanding the only diffrence in the banshee to the rz is the fact that the rz has powervalves. If you notice on castings for the bashee, the old rs powervalce actuator mounting points are still there. everything should cross right over. I don't think you can just mount rz jugs on a shee as there isn't any way to get the cables to the powervalve working. Plus I thing pipes won't fit right due to the larger exhaust port. It's been done before. I hear that rz motor is a mean SOB.

If you notice on the water pump cover there is a rubber cap and on the breather on the clutch case there is a seal that goes to nothing. I belive that the powervalve runs off a gear from the crank and uses rps to judge when to open.

Mostly wrong. The RZ jugs will bolt right on to the Banshee bottom. The powervalves are run by RPM's which require the use of the stock stator and flywheel and CDI. The RZ was oil injected so the oil pump was run off of the waterpump gear. The RZ jugs have a bigger water jacket and so the banshee head will not interchange. You do need the CDI, stator, flywheel, power valve controller and cables and the RZ wiring is important to have. You can also run a battery or the eliminator. The Battery can help woth even lighting if you ride at night.

The RZ can boost the stock banshee HP from 37 to 55. So you get 50% morepower with the RZ top.

Not a bad mod for the money.

Wow I didn't know it would make that big of an increase in power!!

Right after I made this post I found the RZ conversion section on banshee zone, and I read everything in there...

Heres the LINK for any 1 else who wants to know more on this subject, also has pictures...

Thx for the help guys, I was starting to second guess doin this, but after hearing the increase it makes I think I will go for it....

Thx again..

I don't believe that horsepower increase holyman, I swapped em out with same pipes and everything, I only noticed a small gain in horsepower, I would say 5, maybe 10 horse gain. It's really just a cheap way to get powervalves and a small horsepower increase.

BTW the Stator does put out more watts...I believe 225w

Interesting. Is there any pipe manufacturors that make pipes that fit and are tuned for the RZ cylinders on the banshee? Roughly what would be the total cost of a RZ powervalve conversion VS a cheetah PV conversion and how do they compare performance wise?

I see, thats great, I was gonna get an after market stator or sumthin to put out more watts for the brighter lights..

I realy think ima do it, seems to be worth it..

Thx again, I realy appreciate all the help...

In stead of getting all the separate parts you could try to find a whole rz bike. I picked one up for $600. I just rebuild the motor and dropped it in.
