FoxBansheeRacing Posted February 20, 2004 Report Posted February 20, 2004 I need a set of intakes for 32mm carbs. I will also need a boost bottle. Reply or PM. Quote
yamaha350 Posted February 20, 2004 Report Posted February 20, 2004 why do you want a boost bottle? Quote
FoxBansheeRacing Posted February 20, 2004 Author Report Posted February 20, 2004 Because you need it, and all I have is the stocker. I've heard blocking off the holes in the intakes make it run like crap. Quote
orion6781 Posted February 20, 2004 Report Posted February 20, 2004 Why do you not just use the stocker?????? Going for looks???? Quote
FoxBansheeRacing Posted February 20, 2004 Author Report Posted February 20, 2004 Stock wont work with 32's I thought..... Quote
broke Posted February 21, 2004 Report Posted February 21, 2004 I put 30's in 26-28mm intakes and they worked fine. I would assume the 32's wouldn't be a problem either. I have a brand new Prodesign non-V-force billet intake with boost bottle. I was hoping to trade it for a -2 swingarm but I would sell it. I just need to order the 2 round gaskets that seal the bottle to the intakes. Long story why I neede to use them. Later broke Quote
yamaha350 Posted February 21, 2004 Report Posted February 21, 2004 mp racing makes billet plugs for the ballance tube holes. or you can get some bolts that fit tight in the holes. there is no dyno proof that the tube does anything. its only good use: to have something to hold elec. and and vent tubes off the motor. MRMOONEY Posted February 22, 2004 Report Posted February 22, 2004 pluging the holes makes it run better that is a proven fact, dave moore at mp racing gained 2 horse by pluging the holes on a POrted motor. on a stock motor run the stock balance tube. on a ported motor run them with plugs. i just used a couple of big bolts and cut them down.
