Mx Tires ?

I just picked up a set of holeshot mx. Haven't run them yet. But you want to run 18in rears simply because the smaller tire will accelerate quicker and weighs less puts less stress on the axle and lowers the rear end to help give the bike's stance a better attack angle...hence why you run 19 or 20's on the front. an 8x8 in rear is standard mx issue, bu the 9 in wheels are gaining popularity as they make the wheel just a little lighter and stiffer sidwalls bite better. But they offer reduced cusioning and you risk a greater chance of bending or breaking your rims or axle...plus chopy track will bounce and feel rougher on a 9in rim.
