banshee76179 Posted February 13, 2004 Report Posted February 13, 2004 That's all I use.... Not,sure of the hp over stock... Quote
pimp559 Posted February 13, 2004 Report Posted February 13, 2004 Wiseco are a very good piston. They not only have about any size you could need but they are also relatively inexspensive compared to stock ones from the stealership. The pistons that Vito's use are cast blanks from wiseco pistons. They just modify them for there certain purpose (i.e. super stock, power pistons etc.) For anyone out there with .80 over pistons that thought that was the last bore Vito's has the power pistons that are .100 over. So before you go and get new cylinders or have sleves put in keep in mind you can get one more bore over .80. I had a set of the .100 overs and they really ran strong. Quote
CT-370LR Posted February 16, 2004 Report Posted February 16, 2004 Vitos are only for a 'Port job of a Shade Tree Mechanic'...... My builder, who builds world renown motors only uses Wiseco then Pro-X.... He knows what he is doing because he has built the fastest Shees that DOMINATE the Pikes Peak climb, as well as many other popular events... Quote
pimp559 Posted February 16, 2004 Report Posted February 16, 2004 Not sure what your trying to say ct370lr? Quote
99Red_Roostr Posted February 17, 2004 Report Posted February 17, 2004 If you don't want a port job $$ the Vitos SuperStocks are a great improvement - don't forget to Jet UP!- 99red_roostr Quote
