I was wondering how my TR6s would perform with a +4 advance timing? If I get a adjustable timing plate do I need a key too? What do you reccomend? Is it reliable on 93 octane if I install a coolhead later on with 21-22cc domes?

I have mine advanced +4 using a key, if you want to spend the extra money by a adjustable plate instead, and yes it will be reliable later on.

Alto of people dont like the keys but i havent had any trouble out of mine, You can mod you stock plate or buy one here is one on ebay not to bad of price.

all pretty much the same some are just look better. but that doesnt matter because you cant see it anyway.

hey guys,

i bought the stock output stator and adjust, timing plate for just like 100$ i think. it was a pretty good deal but make sure not to overtighten the bolts, ricky stator uses a "soft like" metal on that timing plate but other than that it works/fits/performs great..

i dont think you should have to rejet after changing the timing and yes it will work great with a set of pipes and a filter.
