Wallrat Posted February 17, 2004 Report Posted February 17, 2004 My wife and I pulled up right at 10, sat around for 15min waiting for somebody to stop by. Guess we just missed each other. Quote
efward Posted February 17, 2004 Report Posted February 17, 2004 Wallrat and I were at Glamis (like we said) didn't run into anyone from the HQ. I was just about to start a new topic to ask about this. It sounded like there was going to be a big group from this board. Maybe not all at one camp but at least a meet up at Olds. What about all those east coast guys that were bringing big rigs out to Gecko? Nobody met up at all and rode / drank? I remember some talk about a Gordons to Gecko run, and some babble about a pair-o-dice breakfast. I would have given an old pair of pegs just to be there, but apparently my priorities are all out of whack. Quote
DUNEDEMON Posted February 17, 2004 Author Report Posted February 17, 2004 Our plannig may have left a bit to be desired. It's looking like Roostfest will be a better chance for some of us to meet and put some faces to the names. But hell Wallrat and I got to hang out, do some riding and have a good time, even if he does drink / chew Guiness. Efward how was Arizona? Quote
Wallrat Posted February 17, 2004 Report Posted February 17, 2004 You may scoff at my guinness but I'm still digesting mine whereas your coors light got pissed out an hour after you finished it. Now that's value! Quote
DUNEDEMON Posted February 17, 2004 Author Report Posted February 17, 2004 You don't buy beer, you rent it. Value? compare the price of a 30 pack of Coors Light to a 30 pack of Guiness. Quote
efward Posted February 17, 2004 Report Posted February 17, 2004 Guiness is alright... as long as it has a shot of whiskey and baileys dropped into it. Arizona sucked. I wish I could say I went riding while I was there. Ended up coming back Sunday morning with a headache and a weakened liver instead. Sucks that more people didn't meet up. I envisioned 50 banshees lined up side by side then racing up olds. I thought for sure your 'free cold beer' ad was enough to entice people to overflow your camp. Next time. Quote
DUNEDEMON Posted February 17, 2004 Author Report Posted February 17, 2004 I figured it would be enough too, don't know what else I can offer, hell the wife ended up making dinner and passing it out too, and Wallrat had the extreme pleasrue of riding the Dunedemon's machine Hell, free beer, free dinner, thrill ride, what more do you want? I guess I could offer a hellafied-gangsta'-roosting, and my dog Howie will hump your leg too. Quote
theeechozen1 Posted February 17, 2004 Report Posted February 17, 2004 It would of been nice to meet all you guys, but I can't stand still once I'm there and just keep riding with no care of what time it is. I'm one of those fuckers that has no priorities. We will meet up in the future cause I am not going to stop going to the dunes anytime this century. I think there will be quite a few of us going to the cinders in Flagstaff, AZ 5/28 if any of you Cali guys are down? Quote
efward Posted February 17, 2004 Report Posted February 17, 2004 Dude. You never mentioned the roost and the leg humping in the original offer. I would have cancelled my other stuff for sure. Quote
DUNEDEMON Posted February 18, 2004 Author Report Posted February 18, 2004 Sorry, I was holding out, didn't want a bunch of mooches showing up for all the free goods. Taking names now, get your spot on the list early as it will fill quickly, for the next Dunedemon Glamis Camp-A-Thon................ Quote
Wallrat Posted February 18, 2004 Report Posted February 18, 2004 Free roost, just follow behind Demon. I'm still picking sand crusted eye boogers out. I can only imagine if he'd been trying to roost me. I missed out on the leg humping, but I think Janel stepped in some Howie-doo. After spotting it, we safely stashed it under Travis' shee. Quote
DUNEDEMON Posted February 18, 2004 Author Report Posted February 18, 2004 That is howie's way of giving back to nature- starting a new dune! Helping to preserve Glamis for our future generations. Quote
reas11 Posted February 18, 2004 Report Posted February 18, 2004 we were there.. i toasted a ring on the left cylinder, blew out my front right shock and rear shock , and managed to crack my case.. were we out at olds too. we were the group with the HUGE fire and the megaphone enticing girlys to show titties for mardi gra beads.. all i can say is i had a great time even though my bike didn't .. the whole time i was there i was waiting to run into some hq members but never did .. thanks jt for being a great host ill be back out there in october .. Quote
efward Posted February 18, 2004 Report Posted February 18, 2004 Did the whole marti gras thing work? I've found that when there are girls there, they pretty much just flash anyway. Quote
