I get off work friday morning at 6am, but I'm gonna try to get a little sleep at work. My guess is we'll probably leave here around 10 or 11am, and get there sometime around sunset-ish. We'll be driving a yellow xterra. I've gotta talk to yamahammer first and find out what's going on with him. I'll call you though and let you know what we're doing for sure when I know. Quote

theeechozen1 Posted February 12, 2004 Report Posted February 12, 2004 I'm not sure if I will be there or not, I might end up going with a group to Gordons, I talked a couple of other peeps into going but they dont want there kids out there in Glamis on a holiday weekend witch is understandable. If I do camp with ya I will be driving a little red toyota p/u and will be there around 7ish tommorrow night. If not I will try and make it to Olds Sat morning @ 10 to meet up with everyone. I have never done this ride with my current bike and am unsure how far I can go on one tank. Does anybody have any feedback on how much gas you will use going from say the drags at Gordons to olds??? The banshee was running like shit, because my carb clamp to the manifold was loose and one of my sparkplugs was 1/2 out too... It was runnign fine then I let me someone else ride it and they did not notice it was running like crap, I noticed it was running like shit on the way to the hill but could not figure out what was wrong. Hopefully I did not suck in any sand (but I think it caused a little air leak) and I have no idea why the sparkplug started to come out, I must not have tightened it quite enough...Doh...But the lights were bright as shit anyways Checked compression in the morning and both cylinders were at 170 so i think im stillg ood to go...FInaly got this thing very close to dialed in! Luckily I caught the loose plug before I did any serious riding Compression check checked out ok 170/170 Maybe I'll catcha next time. Quote
