screamingtwin Posted January 31, 2004 Report Posted January 31, 2004 I just went and bought a white brothers boost bootle. Can anybody tell me if it will make a diffrence in power? Quote
locogato11283 Posted January 31, 2004 Report Posted January 31, 2004 i dont thnk they do anything. some people will argue that they give you low end power but i dont know. if they do its barely anything makin it really hard to tell. do a search in the forums. there is a whole thread about boost bottles and how they work. i cant remember who posted it up tho. sredish Posted January 31, 2004 Report Posted January 31, 2004 Man, the White Bros. boost bottle is the best. It will add so much midrange power, it's like throwing a set of 30mm pwks on . When I put mine on, it was like a totally different bike. Sorry, I just couldn't resist. I wish that was the truth, but I think you bought a pretty item that is just gonna be pretty. I think most of the people that notice a difference, the difference is in their head. They look good, but don't get your hopes up. Quote
Just for fun Posted January 31, 2004 Report Posted January 31, 2004 I read a while back that a member here (forget who it was) did a dyno test with and without the bottle and he lost HP with it on. On my 99, which is stock with T-5's, V-Force and pro design air filter I ran it with and without and didnt notice ANY difference. I took it off because I was concerned the wires and stuff would eventually wear through the top of the boost bottle and I would suck dirt/sand into my motor. Quote
Holyman Posted January 31, 2004 Report Posted January 31, 2004 Check the engine section. I just bumped an old article. Quote

Hi joe passela this is christian passela ur cousin and i think it makes a diffrents because why would they sell it Quote
boonman Posted February 3, 2004 Report Posted February 3, 2004 You can expect to see a 5-6 HP increase. Quote
banshee04le Posted February 3, 2004 Report Posted February 3, 2004 Yeah, but don't expect to get that power to the ground if you are still running the stock blue powerband. The blue one is usually pretty much trashed after the first couple of rides anyway. Thats why most people don't notice the power gain from the boost bottle. Quote
