Just for fun Posted January 15, 2004 Report Posted January 15, 2004 I'm looking for an English type lab. They're shorter and blockier than your average labrador. Ours just died and we are looking for a reputable breeder in the NJ area. If anyone knows of any in the NJ vicinity, i.e. PA, DE please let me know. Also if anyone knows the advantages/disadvantages of this breed, please advise. With all the members on this site I'm sure there are some Lab experts among us. Thanx. Quote

I'm not familiar with the specific breed, but my parents had a black lab mix, my sister has a black lab, my buddy has a yellow lab, and my wifes friend has a yellow lab. GASSY summa bitches. Lab farts WILL clear the room. You won't realize it until you are half way out the door just on an instinctual reaction the body has to save itself. They are some of the funnest dogs in the world though. Thats about all I know. Get a tennis ball and the thing will be your friend for life. My buddies will climb a tree on command, and my wifes friends dog will bark 1,2,3,4,5 times depending on how many fingers you are holding up. Very entertaining friends to have. I hope to get a chocolate lab in the next few years. Quote
