BansheeBruce Posted January 8, 2004 Report Posted January 8, 2004 I'm trying to find touch-up paint for the frame (silver) for a 1999. The stealership doesnt know the color code. Can anyone help? Quote
mrmatt Posted January 9, 2004 Report Posted January 9, 2004 I have looked and looked for a paint that matches and I haven't found an exact match yet. Most aluminum paints are a little too light an shiny, while most silvers are a little to grey and dull. The closest that I have found is Duplicolor Silver Metallic, DAL 1679, which is a little too dark. Quote
Klotz Posted January 9, 2004 Report Posted January 9, 2004 off my old ex i took the bumper off and took it to cnadian tire and the matched it up for free...but it dint exactly match..good enough thoguh ] Quote
spoin39 Posted January 9, 2004 Report Posted January 9, 2004 They do have it cause I had some not too long ago. Mrmatt, go to ACTION motorsports and ask Randy to find it for ya, If I can find my old bottle I will give him the code off of it. It looks just like the little touch up bottles at auto parts stores. it was a perfect match! Quote

spoin39 Posted January 10, 2004 Report Posted January 10, 2004 For anyone looking for banshee frame paint I finally found my old bottle (like small auto touch up) the part # is PNT-12000-TO-35 and I got it from my dealer about 3 yrs. ago so they should still have it. Quote
Skiddz Posted January 10, 2004 Report Posted January 10, 2004 Head to www.bikebandit.com and look in their OEM parts locator. Parts like frames and suspension arms, body panels and wheels are usually listed with the factory colors. Quote
