Anyone running/racing a Driveline Performance/Tyson Racing Billet transmission?

I just purchased one yesterday, should receive it in 2-3 weeks. Looks & sounds like a great product.

You should be fine.

We're a little north of 150 hp. Plus, our heavy chassis/rider weights are going to push the limits of the output shaft. The only saving grace may be the slip in the clutch at the hit.

I really wanted to put in a Robinson billet but couldn't get ahold of them by phone or email. Not a peep back from them, that's no way to run a business!

The transmission was delivered today. The plan is to install in the lower case tomorrow & bench test it. The last time I did that was many moons ago & I had a 2nd person. I'm going to attempt by myself. If that doesn't work out, I'll have to call the boss lady to the shop. Anyway, hope to get that done & the top case glued to the bottom.

The plan is to install the engine on Sun. & get things all hooked up. I need to start the motor sometime within a week or so. That's going to be fun, trying to remote start it my myself. The whole family is going on vacation to CA. I want no part of going there! I'll try & figure out something, some people say it can be done.

We plan on testing it on the weekend of Jan. 23rd at the track. The following weekend we'll be racing it at the local points races.

Nope, spent a couple days bench testing the trans. Had some troubleshooting & backyard machining correction to do. The engine is still on the bench & almost done, hope to get it hard mounted tomorrow.
