Was recently given an rd400 engine by a friend. He junked the motorcycle chassis cuz it was crashed. He doesn't want anything to do with motorcycles anymore. I'm thinking about getting a banshee chassis and putting this engine in it. The engine has been ported polished in the head has been milled. It was modified with v Force reeds and has a modern ignition system. From what he told me it took really well to race gas. Is it worth putting in a Banshee chassis or should I be looking for a different chassis to put it in.

Thank you

I would just find a rd400 or 350 that is blown or a basket case and build a street bike so u can utilize all the components opposed to modifying exhaust, engine mounts, potentially wiring harness, control cables, adding a cooling system, ect…

If you can weld yfz hybrids are common.
Member tfaith here on the website can build you a custom chassis with correct geometry.
