Was recently given an rd400 engine by a friend. He junked the motorcycle chassis cuz it was crashed. He doesn't want anything to do with motorcycles anymore. I'm thinking about getting a banshee chassis and putting this engine in it. The engine has been ported polished in the head has been milled. It was modified with v Force reeds and has a modern ignition system. From what he told me it took really well to race gas. Is it worth putting in a Banshee chassis or should I be looking for a different chassis to put it in. Thank you

Will a stock bore banshee with Decked head Vf4s Shearer pipes Dune port See a huge improvement with 34mm carbs and a timing plate?

Any idea what cc that would be with stock crank?

I was just wanting to know how big of aftermarket jugs i can go without a new crank or case mod or adapter purely out of curiosity also i dont want to just bore out my stock jugs to the max and not be able to rebuild it if need be

Can u tell me what i can get out of the right size carbs 4mm crank timing plate and race gas if its worth it.... Or in your general opinion what should i do next with this engine build and what kind of numbers can i expect.

ok long story short i was talking to the engine builder i was told that a bigger piston on a banshee will not give me more hp but a stroked banshee will, his explanation was that a bigger piston will slow the engine down due to rotational mass so is this true

he premixed 20:1 and went threw 5 gallons of premium used klotz..... the bike starts fine but is this going to hurt my engine i told him 40:1 i am displeased i dont think he will borrow it again...

im needing some opinions on a larger cc engine build something with massive amount of grunt to it im thinking a 6 or 700cc engine any idea what something like this might cost will it sit inside the frame with out modifications
