banshee04le Posted January 5, 2004 Report Share Posted January 5, 2004 in my opinion, you should either port your own or saveup for the v-forces. if your good with your hands, and you follow the advice on bhq and take your time and concentrate on every bit of material you remove and why you are removing it...you will get good results porting the stock cages and it is not as hard as it sounds. make sure you understand what the related posts and pics are talking about and if any doubt, ask. sorry ruf-rida we must have been posting at the same time Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

superchicken Posted January 5, 2004 Author Report Share Posted January 5, 2004 let me ask this,ive ported many a small block ford-chevy.ive always polished the intake runners like mirrors.on reed cages ive read that you whant to leave them a little "gritty" to help with fuel atomisation.is this only usefull towards the lower end or all over the rev range?
