Big Blue Posted January 4, 2004 Report Posted January 4, 2004 Everybody that has dealt with quicksand on here has said good things Quote
evil Posted January 4, 2004 Report Posted January 4, 2004 burguards pretty much like lonestar, you wont find a better person to deal with then gary and his arms are top notch. quicksand all the way bro. later Quote
Killer_Shee Posted January 4, 2004 Report Posted January 4, 2004 I was one of the very first people to own a set of Quicksand arms about 3 years ago, and Burgards are what I replaced with the Quicksand arms. Burgard's quality is right at the bottom of the heap with American Star. I thrashed through 2 sets of Burgard arms in less than a year, then they told me my "lifetime warranty" was no longer in effect. To make a long story short, I bought the very first set of MX a-arms that Quicksand ever built and they are still running strong 3 years later. You can find products with as good of quality as Quicksand, but they are priced WAAYYY higher. Most of the other products in the $500-$600 range don't even hold a candle to Quicksand. Quote

Banchetta Posted January 4, 2004 Report Posted January 4, 2004 Gary made me a custom set of arms and I put them on....Two weeks later, I rolled down a 90' packed loam hill w/ grass clumps at @80 degree vertical w/ jumps in it....the shee hit the bottom and ripped my handlebars in half and bent my steering stem...checked the arms and they were still perfect.....2 thumbs up for GARY!!!! banshee370 Posted January 5, 2004 Report Posted January 5, 2004 I've never delt w/ Quicksand but I've seen his a-arms in person... They are VERY nice and well worth what he sells them for. Burgards is junk... I've seen way too many of them and they arent worth a shit. Quote
