My mom just informed me that she will be selling her house, and will be making a pretty hefty profit out of it. And since I basically fixed the whole house up, and made it worth what its worth, she said she would buy me a brand new quad of my choice. :D:D:D:D She new how sad i was about selling my shee, and she offered my 6000 dollars towards my car or a quad. And i just couldnt resist the quad. I don't think im gonna buy another shee because i dont have time to work on it with my kid n all. But thats besides the point. Could you guys help me out on what to buy?? I dont know much about thumbers the only quad ive ever owned was a banshee. Thnx.

Wait and see what this new Honda 450R is going to do. Thats what I am going to do, I want to buy another quad (4stroker) for the trails and stuff. Its a toss up between the Honda 450r or yamaha 450

Get a 250R even though they are still 2 strokes you only have one cylinder to rering. or rebuild so it wouldn't be as high mantinence as a banshee. Thats just my opinion though i have never had a fourstroke quad and the ones i've ridden aren't all that great. I think the best one i road was a Scrambler 500 X 2x4 then a 400 ex.

if i was to get a 4-stroke, i'd get a new honda 450R.

fel0n,

i dunno what to say about your situation other than WOW! I wish you the best of luck in your life, you've started way early. If i were you, i'd hold on to that cash, you've got more resposibility than cleaning a quad. you have a kid to take care of.

I didnt realize you were that young, IMO you should probably hold onto that money or spend a small part of it and keep the rest, it would be a good idea having a kid and all. Hell im 23 and i cant see myself having a kid right now, best of luck to ya.

wow when you said hes 3 and youre 16 my mouth dropped... dude man keep that 6 grand youll need it eventually. or get a like 2000-2001 banshee and keep like 3 grand from it for kid expenses

Hi Felon:

If you don't need the money right now hang on to it. Have your mom put it in an interest bearing trust fund for you son that he cannot touch until at least 21 (preferably 25). I do realize - from experience - how difficult that decision is to make at your(/any?) age.

I suspect you'll gain the respect of many adults if you do this. Hell, you'll be 35 when your son is out of college! That money will buy ATVs for both of you to spend time together on then.

Regards,

Bill
