Just wondering if the Banshee uses 0.0020in base gasket and I install 0.0016in base gasket is that the same as if I took 0.004in off the head?

No head wont change port timing, base will.
Either way, you need to follow up with squish measurement
Ok and if I'm only changing it by 4 thou will that make a huge difference and what type of squish am I looking for or does that depend on the engine setup? Engine is all stock except a clean up of all the over casting and flash in the way of air flow they are 64mm stock cylinders, full FMF gnarly with PowerCore2, K&N filter with semi open lid, 260 mains. What type of squish range is good for me, I will be running 95octane pump gas or 102-103 octane when mixed with VP if I need to. HUGE THANKS FOR THE HELP BROTHER.
