Yamaha banshee no start

I just rebuilt this banshee, has good compression now but had no spark. Needed a coil due to an open on the secondary side of it so I put a new one in and it fires up for 18-19 seconds before dying. Lost spark and wont start back up. Can’t find any shorts or wires with high resistance, new coil tested good, stator tested good, so I went and bought a cdi box from Vito’s performance. Put the new cdi in and I have spark now consistently but thing will not start for the life of me. Ignition timing on the flywheel side of things looks good, is it possible this cdi isn’t setting the spark off at the right time or am I overthinking this? Any input would be appreciated

Yes only by oem electronics

& NEVER buy from vitos/ motor city atv / minkia38

Yea i figured for the price probably wasn’t a good idea but it did prove that was my spark issue. I did buy the Vito’s stock crank, hope that wasn’t a bad idea. Seemed like it was good quality in person
