  2. Rebuilt my banshee back in October 2022 with new stock crank from vito’s and 66mm wiseco pistons. Ran very well for a little over a year and probably put like 30-40 hours roughly on it of just trail riding. Long story short, left side piston ended up spinning the top ring and got caught on the exhaust port. Tore it apart and found the locating pin was sheared off, not missing but worn down / broken to the point the ring could slide around. The bottom locating pin on that same piston looks fine. The right piston didn’t have any damage but I can see the rings are worn pretty good where it hooks around the locating pin on the end gap of the ring and those locating pins are also worn down / sheared. My question is what would cause this? Bike seems to be on the richer side if anything and was never a high compression motor, if anything it was on the lower compression side with the stock crank and larger CC domes. https://drive.google.com/file/d/15mQzztIKaktHy8zPH4Rs8fg6xUnmykCA/view?usp=drivesdk https://drive.google.com/file/d/1pMinZTEAPpcjcLJkhgLIUZUCDJZSnK_D/view?usp=drivesdk
  3. Yea i figured for the price probably wasn’t a good idea but it did prove that was my spark issue. I did buy the Vito’s stock crank, hope that wasn’t a bad idea. Seemed like it was good quality in person
  4. I just rebuilt this banshee, has good compression now but had no spark. Needed a coil due to an open on the secondary side of it so I put a new one in and it fires up for 18-19 seconds before dying. Lost spark and wont start back up. Can’t find any shorts or wires with high resistance, new coil tested good, stator tested good, so I went and bought a cdi box from Vito’s performance. Put the new cdi in and I have spark now consistently but thing will not start for the life of me. Ignition timing on the flywheel side of things looks good, is it possible this cdi isn’t setting the spark off at the right time or am I overthinking this? Any input would be appreciated
