Coolant, how much to put in?

Ok it's been a while since I had this quad out. My Clymer's manual says the coolant takes 2.5 liters. But my Toomey oversized radiator is only holding 1.5 liters. is that a typo in the Clymer's manual. I think I always remember the Radiator and the Crank case holding 1.5 Liters

I just did a rebuild Witch was completely dry  and I used engine ice witch it didn’t use it all But most of it. jug is a 1.89 L ....

im also running an after market. mishimoto radiator.  
  As long as it’s full and Circulating I wouldn’t worry about it.

My Yamaha manual says.  Total amount:  2.5 L (2.20 Imp qt, 2.64 US qt)

Reservoir Tank Capacity:  0.28 L (0.25 Imp qt, 0.30 US qt)

Thank you, everyone that replied. Yeah I did fill it to the top. Almost took all of the 1/2 gallon of Engine Ice® Just wondering where Yamaha got that number from. I guess I will just hold on to the other 1/2 gallon of Engine Ice® I purchased. peace.

Tip... move the overflow to under the front plastics in the frame and it won't run out all the time. Harder to fill but you will not have to very often. You can even tap into the line and add a temp gauge while your at it.

this confused me too, when i changed the coolant yesterday. this manual obviously is for the 1986 to 1990's Banshee's.

in the 2006 manual it is 1,5L. i bought 2 cans of engine ice in the last year and now i have one can left. nice^^
