Eddie350 Posted May 13, 2020 Report Share Posted May 13, 2020 Hey guys just bought a banshee with toomey T5’s and an air box delete it has k&n pods I just needed help dialing in my jetting it currently has 310 main and 25 pilots the needle is set to the 4th clip position I’m at 700ft it’s about 68 degree average where I’m at and it seems to bog and foul my plugs pretty quickly it also has a very high idle when I put the syncrometer on the mouths of the carbs they sit at 7 and no less another thing to note is that it doesn’t go into power band smoothly it slacks and then kicks in also sounds like it’s bogging on take off Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Toybreaker Posted May 14, 2020 Report Share Posted May 14, 2020 2nd the 27.5 pilot, buy 270-330 mains and do a bunch of plug chops to determine best jetting. I ran 280 mains, 27.5 pilots and the needle 2 grooves from the top (toomey needle) in the winter at Glamis, Every bike is different and unless you plug chop it or use a chassis dyno with a sniffer in both pipes you will be guessing.
