Wiring for light bar

Hey all I was curious how to wire a light bar I got for my 98 banshee, it has a relay, fuse and switch. would the positive splice with another wire on bike that leads  to the stator or is there some other way? Thanks!!

If that light bar truly needs a relay, you don't have a big enough stator to run it if you still have the stock stator. If it is a LED bar, you probably don't need the relay, but you should be floating the stator ground, adding a rectifier( a DC conversion). LEDs don't last long when ran on AC power. You should read up on the Banshee electrical system and the threads about adding LED lights.

I just bought the wiring kit cause I figured it needed one the light bar only has the red and black wire

Banshees put out AC current. The relay that came with your bar kit will not work with AC current.

Would I just splice the light bar into the existing wiring

If it was incandescent yes. If led it doesn't matter how you wire it in, if it's still a.c. it won't work
