Justintoxicated Posted December 12, 2003 Report Posted December 12, 2003 Last time I asked this question I went with the high voltage....I don't really like them much, Drove in a couple sand storms and ended up with tons of sand in my eyes...Normally they are alright but I wouldnet buy them again... This time im looking for a nice pair for my gf, list me some options. I was looking into the Smith SMX Airflow goggles or maybe the Fuels? How are the Scott Voltage "R" googles? Quote
rebelbanshee2 Posted December 12, 2003 Report Posted December 12, 2003 i like the smith warp goggles i run them with the roll offs but in the sand you probably dont need them Quote
EmpirE231 Posted December 12, 2003 Report Posted December 12, 2003 I just bought my girlfriend some dragon goggles, for $30. I dont know how well they work but the look pretty good and they're pretty well constructed. I got myself the spy alloys for $40, and those are nice. Quote
frocashmoney24 Posted December 12, 2003 Report Posted December 12, 2003 yea i have the Scott Voltage "R" googles they work pretty damn good, but ive never run them in the sand since theres none around here so idk Quote
Screamin_Demon Posted December 12, 2003 Report Posted December 12, 2003 I bought brand new Oakley O-frame for about 32. They're the softest feeling goggles i've ever owned/wore. Quote
thecabinboy Posted December 13, 2003 Report Posted December 13, 2003 ProGrip 3400 Light Sensitive lens Big thumbs up Quote
Justintoxicated Posted December 13, 2003 Author Report Posted December 13, 2003 Well I stopped at motoworld, which is kinda expensive..Got some dragons but they were like $36.. Oakleys were about the same..These looked pretty damn nice though..nicer than my high voltage ones and they had a nice color selection too...Rocky mountain has stuff way cheaper but its a little late now to order X-mas stuff on there... http://www.motoworldracing.com/dragon_04)MDXgoggle.html Still have enough left over to get her some riding gloves too. I hate X-mas shopping though, I especially hate traffic! And long lines. Very agrivating! I wanted to get some nice bolts for my noss head while I was there but the line for parts was like 30 minutes long so I said f*ck it. Quote
BdBanshee Posted December 13, 2003 Report Posted December 13, 2003 I also have the Oakley's, the triple foam is great. Way softer than the other brands, I think it seals better too. Quote
JTQuad Posted December 13, 2003 Report Posted December 13, 2003 Oakley's are by far the softest most comfortable ones i ever owned as well. Great goggles - JT Quote
BenBB Posted December 13, 2003 Report Posted December 13, 2003 The Dragons look pretty good. I'm running Pro Grip Millenium goggles now and love them, way way better than the cheap-o Smith goggles I had before. Next set I buy will be Oakley, mostly because I can find tearoffs locally (and not have to order them), but also because they appear to be as good quality-wise as the Pro Grips...and they have large frames fer glasses. Justintoxicated Posted December 15, 2003 Author Report Posted December 15, 2003 ill make my next pair the oaklies, the dragons had some extra foam too, the problem with my high voltage ones is that the foam isn't think enough to seal against my head in a HJC helmit. Quote
Otis Posted December 15, 2003 Report Posted December 15, 2003 I'm usin the Oakleys too. Clear lens for cloudy days and ones w/ a bronze lens(ski goggles) for when it's sunny. Anybody try the McGrath SPYs, w/ the mirrored lens? Quote
