ledofthezep Posted December 8, 2003 Report Posted December 8, 2003 If you got the money,...go with the +3+1 & long travel 19" shocks. That's what I'd ultimately like to do, but don't have the $$. Remember, if you go over +2 you'll need longer brake lines. You'd be just fine & see a huge improvement with +2+1 arms & those shocks. Either way shee'll be a whole new ride, you won't regret it one bit. Quote
BdBanshee Posted December 9, 2003 Report Posted December 9, 2003 I bought the +2 +1 JD arms with new Works triple rate with rezzies, made a huge difference in the way it rides. I can literally fly through the whoops! Quote
killershee88 Posted December 9, 2003 Report Posted December 9, 2003 i just bought the wicked products +3+1 arms with works triples. i havnt used the set up yet cuz the shjocks did get here yet but i heard lots of good things!! Quote
Leadfoot350 Posted December 9, 2003 Report Posted December 9, 2003 I have jd performance a-arms +3 +1 because he was the cheapest on +3 arms. I only ride in glamis and have works tripple with rezzies with the set up. I also have a +6 swing arm to round out the package. I am noticing that more companies are making long travel a arms now these days and the price has droped big time!!! vs roll designs. I like my set up a lot but would like more travel and adjustable shocks. I think it would be about 500 more for long travel but well worth it. Either way you go will be a better set up than stock that bottoms out all the time. Quote
efward Posted December 12, 2003 Report Posted December 12, 2003 I have been looking at purchasing this setup with J-D performance a-arms +2+1. What's a decent price range for the JD +2+1 arms and the works shocks w/ resevoir? Most of the places selling a-arms suggest new shocks if your bothering to upgrade your a-arms so it ends up being a bigger purchase than I planned. But if I'm going to do it I want to do it right. thanks Quote
Blue Duece Posted December 12, 2003 Report Posted December 12, 2003 debbie and dave at JD are cool people.....i like his arms you can adjust your camber to a 16th of an inch since his arms arnt threaded.....real nice arms........ Quote
