I was rinding for about an hour with no problems. Held it wide open for about 30 seconds and my pipes went really gold with a blue spot. Is my main jet not quite dialled in or did they just get way to hot?

Typically it's from excessive heat. However, I've never seen them blue beyond the first foot. Definitely check jetting.

I'm running 320 mains with DMC 916 pipes and a K&N filer. 141 feet elevation, 21 °C .

I don't think im lean... the plugs have always been pretty dark/oily.

Are they chrome for sure not nickle?

The DMC paperwork that came with them says they are chrome plated.

Yeah brand new pipes. Holding it open for 10-15 seconds is usually ok it's just when its more than that they go gold.

Is there a easy way to check this without pulling cases off?

Might be worth mentioning as well that after i held it open, i went half throttle for a second or two, then back to open and it started bogging. Cleared after a few seconds.
