Hey all I was researching a little on the subject and people are saying after market stators are no good? I checked eBay and seems like the oem stator used is a fair price at around170$? Any input on this or does any one have one laying around they are looking to sell

$170 for a stator? I just bought a stator and CDI for $160. I think $170 for a stator is high.

Ok so I will definitely keep looking .. Oem is the way to go though right? Or is any after market one decent ?

I had good luck with an old Moose stator, but I would stay away from aftermarket electrics if possible. Stock is my preference. (Unless you're running a heavier lighting circuit, then you limit some of your options)

That lazy albino. I told him already.

Still haven't heard from him. What does he charge for the stator?
