Coolant hose on top of cool head

Can this hose be capped off? Not hooking up to a stock radiator, so I don't have that fitting.

Tap it and put a machine screw into it with a dab of sealant. Much cleaner and much stronger than a rubber cap.

I would still use that to bleed air out of the system though. Can use like a brake bleeder.

I don't use a cyl head vent but I do make sure there's no air in system
