Have a fresh 4 mil ported cylinders timing at +4 vforce 4 reeds 34 mm flat slide carbs with open filters t4 pipes riding Sunday and left piston melted a hole in it

Leakdown test it, and see if you have a leak on that side.

Jetting, and tune safe? Always a good idea to re jet for the colder weather.

Full specs on new motor? What jets in the carbs? Did it pass a leak down after assembly? Did you do a leak down before pulling it apart?

 

It's gonna be a lack of fuel issue or an air leak.

Only if someone porting really has no clue how to do it. That is currently the least of your worries.

I work 3rd Shift my tomorrow will be when I get off in the morning man smh everybody gotta be a smart ass on here I see, I Restored this bike from the ground up im just trying to get it running right, I have lots of money invested, Tryna get out of Motorcycle drag racing, and just have a nice toy too play around on
