02Bansheeee Posted November 4, 2016 Report Share Posted November 4, 2016 working on a banshee for a buddy that is 2002 according to the frame, but it has an older round style harness (87-94). The engine connector coming from the stator has the white square plug like a newer one (such as an 02)... Therefore the bike has no power from the stator cause it can't plug in. The guy he bought it from said it was a ground up build and has never been started because he had " a few minor things left to do". My question is would a stator with an older plug style work on this newer engine? Or should he just get a whole new harness, cdi, regulator, etc? Here you can get adapters to simply plug it all up or a complete new harness to anything in between.
