I've got three complete sets of threaded repair bungs here. These are used to repair your frame if your footpeg holes are stripped out. They are threaded M10x1.5 coarse thread instead of the factory fine thread. They also have a lot more thread length than the factory.

basically you cut and grind the old inserts out of the frame carefully. The new ones fit in the holes left in the frame and are welded in place
