what is the proper way to set the toe.from what I read that is lining up the front wheels with the back I have an inch gap because I have a stock axel still. I'm finding it to be a bitch to get straight by eyeball she drags to the right on the pavement a bit

Maybe I worded that wrong. Best way I can describe it is when I'm on pavement I am holding the bars straight and it drives to the right hand side. How do you get it very close to straight when the bars are straight and then set the proper to once aligned

Believe you have to adjust the tie rods to get the correct toe..and ball joints for the camber

Get a tape and measure from rim to rim on the inside of wheels. Front of rim and back of rim. Get these the same measurement. Or up to 1/8" closer in the front which is toed in.

This all while having the bars straight. To get it to roll straight you might need to move both tie rods one in and one out to essentially turn the wheels to match the bars while keeping a straight toe.

Hope that is understandable
