tim.cotman211 Posted May 5, 2016 Author Report Posted May 5, 2016 Ditch your carbs, you don't need 34mm carbs on your stock engine. Also, what 34mm carbs are you running? PJ34, tm34? What is your elevation? What is current temperature? Pj34200ft 70 °f Quote
tim.cotman211 Posted May 5, 2016 Author Report Posted May 5, 2016 Pj34 200ft 70 °f Is it possible to run those carbs and just change jets? Quote
Larry's Shee Posted May 5, 2016 Report Posted May 5, 2016 Have you ever had this set-up running? If so, what is it doing that you think jetting is off ?? Have you done a plug chop/read ? What are current specs of carbs ? Jets, etc. ? I have a dollar says it's a symptom of being over carbed. Quote
tim.cotman211 Posted May 5, 2016 Author Report Posted May 5, 2016 Yes you can run them, just not really the optimal setup. As for jetting, I am not 100% on this but I would suggest starting around 140-150 main and 40-45 pilot. What is your current jetting? What needle you running? What issues are you having that you are looking at the jetting? 150main52 pilot I have more jets otw so i can go down on pilot Never looked to see what clip the needle is on Problems i have it wont open up all they way when i drag But in the street or playing around it will And some times one cylinder will drop Quote
tim.cotman211 Posted May 5, 2016 Author Report Posted May 5, 2016 You might have an electrical issue.Dont think its eletrical i changed coil once its hard to idle and when i hold the throttle a pinch to let it war up or sit on cylinder will be on when i hit the call both be on but seem like it just wont clear up Quote

RagunCajun Posted May 5, 2016 Report Posted May 5, 2016 On a drag race, maybe you are sucking a fuel bowl dry. That happened to me. It was a float issue. Quote
