Buster91dg Posted March 26, 2016 Report Posted March 26, 2016 90 banshee all new chain and sprockets new all balls upper and lower chain rollers and new swing arm slider. Chain is a little loose and I' noticed a slight clicking sound coming from the rear of bike now I just put new tires on it and it got worse check the video out https://vimeo.com/160471568 Quote
Buster91dg Posted March 26, 2016 Author Report Posted March 26, 2016 That's what I'll do would it have anything to do with those engine dampers that go on each side of the engine where it bolts up to the motor mounts mine doesn't have them Quote
locogato11283 Posted March 26, 2016 Report Posted March 26, 2016 Most likely with the addition of new tires, you're getting better traction and the loose chain is jumping teeth on the sprocket. Quote
Buster91dg Posted March 26, 2016 Author Report Posted March 26, 2016 Yeah I have to take a link out in order for me to get s good adjustment. Hopefully it's nothing major Quote
locogato11283 Posted March 26, 2016 Report Posted March 26, 2016 Don't ride the bike anymore until this is corrected. You're going to tear up your sprockets and risk throwing the chain. This IS the sound coming from the rear end. Quote
Buster91dg Posted March 26, 2016 Author Report Posted March 26, 2016 Ok I won't I'll adjust the chain and get back to you tomorrow happy Easter btw Quote
sleeper06 Posted March 27, 2016 Report Posted March 27, 2016 Put the dampners back in im pretty sure the engineers at yamaha put em there for a reason , make sure bottom dog bones are in good shape so motor doesn't cock on you Quote
Buster91dg Posted March 27, 2016 Author Report Posted March 27, 2016 Ok the dog bones you are talking about are underneath the engine right Quote
