I got a banshee last fall and rode it a week Let my wife ride it one time and it locks up on her (29L) crank. So I pulled everything apart and needing a new everything but trans and case. Rod bearings in 1 rod were gone as in not in rod or case. Clip in piston for pin was gone in same rod and started to back out.

So now I have 64.5mm jugs needing a fresh bore and want to run vitos superstock pistons who can I send my jugs to for bore and that piston set?

Needing a new crank and thinking vitos stock crank. I'm only going to trail ride and in a field.

Are these pistons and crank any good now days?

I sent my cylinders to redline in Oregon. Really pleased with his work. I geared it towards trail riding and all around aggressive riding. I went with the Vito's 4mil long rod crank and I don't have a lot of time on it yet but I really like my setup. The rods had this polished like appearance to them. I have no expirence with Vito's Pistons but I would t hesitate to buy their crank

Don't blame the wife, it was time. Consider 4mil long rod, won't cost much more. Don't even have to port for it. Is it ideal? No, but you can always port it later. My son has unported 4mil using head spacer, works just fine. Can't use the Vito's pistons with long rod.

You will need to get it ported for a long rod...those spacer plates are junk I hear...if you go long rod get your head cut for custom domes or get a cool head and order some domes....

Anyone else recommend a place to send cylinders to for bore?

Would a stock crank be good for trails? I don't want to port so really no point in a long rod then right? I want a stockish bike that's reliable not a drag bike.

I currently have fattys with powercore2 and k&n filter. These pipes going to be good for trails?

You use different pistons for rod length, you port for length of stroke, shows what you know. Spacer has been under the stock head since I rebuilt eng 4 yrs ago.

Tho it isn't much displacement, every bit helps. Had fatties, ran good, just switched to 916s , runs even better

Where you located?

I think Vito makes a very good crank. If you run stock stroke, then I would try the vito ss piston. I have never used them, but I understand they simulate engine porting (somewhat) more than a stock piston
