  1. Stock reeds for now. Is there really any increase in power with lid off vs snorkel removed? I will be trail riding is the only reason I think about keeping it.

  3. I'm going to be running vitos super stock 65mm,fmf fatty gold series with powercore2 and stock airbox k&n w/outerwear and NO lid. I'll be riding in the 500'-900'. What should I start my mains at? What should I set needle at? And i got 27.5 pilots. When I got it last year it had the pipes and filter with lid and vent holes in lid with 25 pilots and 200 mains ran good I thought but only rode it a week before rod bearings went. It would idle last year but tors were broke. One screw missing in one and other screw didn't do anything when turned. Slides were open I enough to make it idle I guess. They will be removed when I put motor back on. Just installed idle screws in carb.

  5. Anyone else recommend a place to send cylinders to for bore? Would a stock crank be good for trails? I don't want to port so really no point in a long rod then right? I want a stockish bike that's reliable not a drag bike. I currently have fattys with powercore2 and k&n filter. These pipes going to be good for trails?
  6. Wiesco pistons be best then? Seems like the most common piston used. I just thought vitos was ok because it's welded.
  7. With that being said would a 4mil be more reliable? I don't have to be the fastest but would like to be the one who doesn't brake down every trip out.
  8. I got a banshee last fall and rode it a week Let my wife ride it one time and it locks up on her (29L) crank. So I pulled everything apart and needing a new everything but trans and case. Rod bearings in 1 rod were gone as in not in rod or case. Clip in piston for pin was gone in same rod and started to back out. So now I have 64.5mm jugs needing a fresh bore and want to run vitos superstock pistons who can I send my jugs to for bore and that piston set? Needing a new crank and thinking vitos stock crank. I'm only going to trail ride and in a field. Are these pistons and crank any good now days?
