Do they make aftermarket thumb throttles for the Banshee that strain the thumb less? I have carpel tunnel and other issues with my right hand from injury, so a day on the Banshee leaves my thumb and forearm aching.

Thanks,

Tom

I think Moose racing has a thumb throttle with a longer arm so its easier. But its like $100(im not really sure). Look into a thumb saver.

if you cant use a twist throttle you could always switch to one carb, much easier on the thumb, my thumb used to cramp up so much now its feather easy to push it

little more pricey but youll gain some bottom end outta the change too

moose and terry cable ones are pretty close to the same if i remember right. they are both easier to push than stock i think, but its still gonna play on your wrist. twist might be the way to go..

I've got one of the softest thumb throttles I've ever pushed. The 2 into 1 carb does help quite a bit. You can also cut 3-4 coils of off the springs in your carbs. Another thing to look into is a Honda thumb throttle (400ex, 300ex, etc.). It's not necessarily softer than the Yamaha, but it feels a lot more comfortable to me. I've done all of the above and I get a lot less arm pump.
