^ exactley. At this point it's gonna be something minor and trivial. That's IF the motor truely isn't hurt and your electrical is as good as you say.

I get the feeling that all was done once and he feels that he couldn't have screwed up. We've seen that too many times.

ok heres a ?? for you guys you can swap the carb slides from one to another ?all you have to do is turn the slide around to line everthing up for the other carb correct ? the reason i ask is how would the bike no any diff ?

That will not work. You should have an arched cut out facing the back of the bike.

There is a half moon cutaway on the bottom of the slides. This exact same scenario which you speak of has happened to countless fellas who swear that they have the bike put together correctly. A month of tail chasing and Presto! They flip the slides and all is well.

Have you actually looked at the spark you are getting?

What tricked said. Banshees have a wasted spark system. It should spark with almost no pause time between sparks. It should be a fast spark that is blue.
