What do you mean?? hole in the light smaller and not munch material to make it bigger??

The hole is the right size just not in the right location.

The side if the outside case is hitting the bracket when trying to align the holes?

Yes it is too wide, just barely. I will have to cut about 1/16 inch off of each side, then I will have to figure out the depth issue.

I would like to keep from modifying the bike to fit a light.

Idk how particular you're trying to get but what about two small plates that mount to the outside of the existing headlight mounts that are roughly an inch tall and wider than the stock location, then mount it between those brackets? Kinda mickey mouse but it would work without modifying the lights or the stock headlight mounts.

That's what I was thinking but I would rather modify to fit.... Idk I might disassemble the housing today to see if I can cut into the housing to give clearance for the mount

Wtf is all this shit? You can ditch almost all that.

Sorry, but no. I had big peak voltage with the 'simple' way. So he added the voltage regulator (78L12) and add the transitor (2n3055) to make it a real PRO job.

And btw, this is far from a complex circuit. About 20$ of parts... Should have it done by tomorow.

Question is can you put it in a housing to actually make it a practical application?
