fixitrod Posted December 2, 2003 Report Posted December 2, 2003 It works on centrifugal force. If you look at it there are little arms that get pulled on when the rpms are up. On the other end of the are, it's like a cam. The force presses your clutch tight. Now, I've heard it can be tough to pull the clutch when under hard acceleration because you are fighting that force.
