Damaged air screw?

don't use gas, gas like to blow up. Kerosene is a slow burn.

I never really go to into this. I've caught the ash to burn as an ember and laid an air hose on one end. Before I realized, the pipe was glowing red and looked like shit when it cooled.

Now I just leave it if I come across it.

Does the kerosene eat it up?
