ZILLAKILLA Posted September 27, 2015 Report Posted September 27, 2015 Every time I go to ride I have very little from brakes. The lines are braided and not old, The fluid is full, and I have bled them several times to the point that they get full pressure in them and then by the next weekend I can almost pull the lever back to the handlebar.I have taken the calipers apart and sprayed WD on the pushpins and put all new front brake pads on.I don't understand how I'm losing pressure but what are ways to troubleshoot and solve this problem. Thank you ahead of time. Quote

mike0chek Posted September 27, 2015 Report Posted September 27, 2015 cost me about $250 for the parts on ebay for a raptor 700/yfz450 front brake combo, but you could prob do it cheaper since you have the braided lines. something to consider.... Quote
Lowroll Posted September 28, 2015 Report Posted September 28, 2015 Yfz450 swap for the win. I got calipers and a master for 120 shipped off of a part out bike. The difference is awesome Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk Quote
m671054 Posted September 28, 2015 Report Posted September 28, 2015 Direct bolt on to a arm spindles. Master might take up a little more space on the bars but should fit fine. Im running a honda throttle with the nub ground off and 08 yfz master on cr high protapers. Used my single line style braided hoses i already had. Works fine. Quote
mike0chek Posted September 29, 2015 Report Posted September 29, 2015 im still waiting on my yfz/raptor brake parts, ill try to remember to let you guys know how it turns out Quote
Lowroll Posted September 29, 2015 Report Posted September 29, 2015 the yfz calipers are a direct swap, the only thing you will need to do is trim the debris shield out a tad since the calipers dimensions are physically larger Quote
