bluebanshee7 Posted June 27, 2015 Report Posted June 27, 2015 Quick qeustion...couldn't find it on Google but the half moon clips that hold the bearings in the motor on the trans and crank are only on the bottom portion of the case. my question is, do I need the half moon clips for the top portion since there are grooves for them to be there? Or is it so they can spin all the way around if the bearings move while the motor is running? Quote
locogato11283 Posted June 28, 2015 Report Posted June 28, 2015 They only come from Yamaha on the bottom. Some people add a clip on the top of the crank bearing but it's not really necessary. The others only need the bottom clip. Quote
