AnabolicX Posted April 22, 2015 Report Posted April 22, 2015 Anyone have any advice on the best/safest way to prime a stock Banshee engine? Thanks! Quote
n2otoofast4u Posted April 22, 2015 Report Posted April 22, 2015 Prime for oil pressure you mean? Quote
AnabolicX Posted April 22, 2015 Author Report Posted April 22, 2015 Sorry... prime for starting. I am trying to sort out a fuel or electrical issue for a no start engine. Spark seems weak but plugs seem dry also. Quote
jtschid0910 Posted April 22, 2015 Report Posted April 22, 2015 I bought a chemically resistant squirt bottle, found it at the local hardware store, and filled it with the same premix I dump in my tank. Take out the plugs and squirt a really little bit into the cylinders, put the plugs back in and kick it over. Quote
AnabolicX Posted April 22, 2015 Author Report Posted April 22, 2015 Is one more effective than the other..(priming carbs vs cylinders)? Or is it more of a personal preference? Thanks for the tips! Quote
98_sheester Posted April 22, 2015 Report Posted April 22, 2015 When you squirt that TINY bit in the cylinders and put the plugs in kick it over quick and its gonna gonna rev high for a few secs if not with in 5 sec shut it down and check everything Quote
sprinklerman Posted April 22, 2015 Report Posted April 22, 2015 Just fix the problem. No priming needed. No priming needed to diagnose either. Quote

AnabolicX Posted April 22, 2015 Author Report Posted April 22, 2015 Interesting..... so is there a better way to diagnose the problem? Quote
