I recently bought my banshee and just changed the oil got a lot of shavings and two good chunks of steel. Does anyone have any ideas what these chunks came off of?01331e996d49a802709247c44d289738.jpg42ac94047ce477010731b2ac874e5065.jpg

Did you ride it with this in? I would pull the clutch cover over and start looking at your kicker gear and transmission do a leak down test see if you have any leaks maybe a crank seal but im sure some others have better advice

That's not a seal. To be honest I've never seen it, or didn't pay attention. Only thing I haven't removed before is the shift forks, and drum...hope it isn't from there.

I just went, and looked at cases I still have split. I'm thinking that's the threads on what I'll call your primary that you mount your clutch basket to
