Tootalltim Posted February 3, 2015 Report Posted February 3, 2015 Hello all, I have an 01 banshee stock except pro circuit pipes, v force 3, reed valve spacers and k&n intake. I'm trying to decide what to do next. I live in pennsylvania near east coast atv in quakertown. I have heard of their tunes for 200 bucks really wakes the quad up. I would appreciate anyone's opinion for my next mod. I do mostly drag racing in sand, and dirt. Things I have in mind are that tune, advanced timing and compression (don't know if the tune includes that), cool head domes and race fuel. I don't know my mind is boggled. Please help! Thank you in advance! -Tim Quote
sheerider11 Posted February 3, 2015 Report Posted February 3, 2015 If you want PM sleeper06 here. He builds some fast shit. He's in LI. I wouldn't let EC tune my weed whacker. Quote
Tootalltim Posted February 3, 2015 Author Report Posted February 3, 2015 Thank you, I'll PM him. What's the reasoning for not liking east coast? I've heard lots of different crap about them Quote
Tootalltim Posted February 3, 2015 Author Report Posted February 3, 2015 Pipes cpi? I heard there's not much difference with what I hve now and different pipes. But that could be wrong. I'll take those spacers off sometime soon. Quote
Larry's Shee Posted February 3, 2015 Report Posted February 3, 2015 Is this competative racing? Or just goofing off? Lot$$ of difference. Dealing with ECATV would be like buying from Rattle Can Ray, either way you're getting fucked. I can just see their $200 tune, next sized smaller jets and advance key. Head mechanic: Ben Dover. Quote
Tootalltim Posted February 3, 2015 Author Report Posted February 3, 2015 Well I don't ONLY drag, Ill ride trails now and then too. I don't know if I should go full blown drag pipes or stick with a happy medium. Quote
Tootalltim Posted February 3, 2015 Author Report Posted February 3, 2015 It is goofing off but obviously gotta beat those 4 pokes. Neck and neck with my brother ltr450 I win then he wins. I wanna win everytime Quote
Tootalltim Posted February 3, 2015 Author Report Posted February 3, 2015 He's got more money into it. Only prob I have is spinning out of the hole. When we're on hard packed I'm usually ahead by a good bit Quote
Tootalltim Posted February 3, 2015 Author Report Posted February 3, 2015 You guys wouldn't reccomend porting or anything? Timing? Compression? Carbs? Quote
sheerider11 Posted February 3, 2015 Report Posted February 3, 2015 You guys wouldn't reccomend porting or anything? Timing? Compression? Carbs?Exactly why I said pm sleeper. He can port and tune your bike and make it as fast as you want 2 Quote
Tootalltim Posted February 3, 2015 Author Report Posted February 3, 2015 I am messaging him noe thanks for the recommendation! Quote
sheerider11 Posted February 3, 2015 Report Posted February 3, 2015 I'd call Redline, K&T, FAST, etc. Not saying sleeper06 can't build a motor, but why not go with someone who sponsors the forum? He's the only guy that's at least somewhat local. That's a great deal for me. I've beaten other shops bike with his motor. So his work is up to par. I'd put my motor against any similar build. If you talked to him you would know that going through him is just as good as going through FAST for a few reasons. Quote
trickedcarbine Posted February 3, 2015 Report Posted February 3, 2015 Thank you, I'll PM him. What's the reasoning for not liking east coast? (Question) I've heard lots of different crap about them (answer) 2 Quote
