trail rider Posted November 23, 2003 Report Posted November 23, 2003 What is yamaha going to do when they stop making banshees? Are they gonna replace it with an all new quad or just discontinue it. When the day finally comes, I think they should keep the same design and make a new motor to put in it. It would be cool to have maybe a 500cc 4 stroke twin with dual carbs and duel exhaust (kinda like the Keasa skyhawk 250, except no dual exhaust). Quote

Dont know if its true but a friend of mine knows a guy at a yamaha dealer. Thats how i know. I hope its not true, that would shame the name banshee to put a 4 stroke engine in it. Quote

Nah..More like a kfx 700 motor but 2 stroke version with a chain drivetrain instead of shaft and an 8 or 10 speed tranny which u can buy in automatic or manule then call it the banshee or viper.or in shaft or chain now that would be one hott ride!! it should have a top speed of 160mph Quote
